thanks all for the suggestions. Rode to Montebello, CA to the Cee Bailey mgf. plant last week and picked up the headlight protector. Got home, replaced the damaged headlight insert and slapped on the protector. Looks kinda industrial but it works. Thanks All.

:D Well, finally took the time to try out "tinybrains" instructions and it WORKED!! Within a couple of minutes, after a few trys in the cold, got the trip/odomter readings back to where they belong and the fuel info back to the button control on the left handlebar. I knew there would be so...
