I think I just figured out that leaving the heated grips "on" when parking the bike for a few days can drain the battery. Am I correct ? It refused to start twice recently and I had to put the battery on charge both times. Do you think that I damaged the battery ?

I use garbage bags (the hefty ones) and it works just fine. It is easy to figure out a way to stuff them with the lid half opened and use the maximum space. Been a while since I posted here ! I just replaced my old Dunlop front tire to match my rear Metzeler Z6. Wow. What a feeling in the curves. The front ends seems to be glued to the road. Makes me think I am riding a new bike. Anybody else got tires that rock ? What brand ?
