I ended up passing on the auction - final bid was around $3400.

I think I'll be more happy with styling of R1150R then R1000R as well.

That's what I figured - there shouldn't be too much damage, but the engine head did take the blunt of the impact.

Right now I'm mostly worried about internals not working correctly - engine problems, shot transmission.

Oh, I live in Minnesota US.
