Re: 2013 R1200R 90th years
Hi Steve I am in Australia and popped in to the dealer yesterday to have a chat about prices etc. it is only 500+ or so more dollars for the 90th anniversary edition. I am seriously considering this bike with extra bits. Given the choice I think the gold bits would look better on the blue bike but i...

Re: Some thoughts on the "New" R1200R (wasserboxer)
My WAG is we'll see a new "Roadster".. probably about 2014 or 2015. The "R" seems to always be the last to receive the new engines. I suspect that may be because the other bikes make more money for BMW, and the Roadsters continue to be the best selling BMW in Europe - despite ol...

New GS1200 125bhp boxer engine
Hi all
How long do you reckon we will have to wait to get this engine in the R1200R?
If we will ever see it in this bike that is?

Re: The R1200R Photo Discussion Thread!
I'm puzzled as to why so many continue to mount electronics low and directly in front of their bikes instrumentation and where you have to remove all your hands weight from the handlebars if you have to give the module a poke while under-way. Think !!!! http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc160/H2Ri...

Underseat storage
Hi Guys
What's the underseat storage like, it gets a mention in the reviews but no pictures, so I wonder if it is more significant than my ex R1100S?

Re: Another new guy!
Hi mate
Yes the bike was gorgeous, especially in Red I always liked looking at it, but to expand it was a combination of things really, gearbox was rough and annoyed me, bike was a little to big and heavy for me, and the engine lacked in power.

Another new guy!
Hi to all! I got an itch that needs scratching, the latest version of the BMW R1200R. $23000 I had a quote for in Australia on the road including many extras for that price. Do I go for it? My last BMW was a R1100s but the engine disappointed me somewhat. I feel the new DOHC Boxer will fit the bill ...
