I must say, I have never seen that many BMW's at once.

I think you said that already...

It was like a motorcycle museum... pretty cool.

Hey, did you notice on the way back it was a lot less windy.. Must have been a West wind. At 70 I was hardly getting any wind pressure. Course you probably didn't feel the difference with your shield.

I think the shield just adds to the effect!

That sail, I mean shield, probably doubles your gas mileage in a tailwind!

I owe you that one!

Hey one thing I noticed: there weren't very many R11xxRs there. One more reason I like my R1150R. There isn't one on every corner!

Hey Mark, I just want to put you on notice: I got mine 1 month before you got yours. Silver, the easiest color to keep clean! :P

Didn't Know

Didn't know any board posters were there--I would have hooked up. I was there on my '02 Blue 1150R and made the deal of the century-- two perfect condition city lids w/ reflector and roundel (one side) and case dividers (two) for $70 out the door. The cheapest deal I have found on the web is City lids -$100 ea, roundels and reflectors - $5 ea, case dividers - $30 ea.

Already installed and they're great for all riding I do except long trips or camping.

Other than that (this was my first time at the flea market), I thought the # of vendors (12?) and buyers (<75?) was pretty small. Great excuse for a weekend ride though!

I thought there were a few more bikes than 75. I told my wife when I got home that I have to get on the computer and put my bike up for sale, as I had just bought a new one! Really only got a T-shirt. But I had her, as this is what I did to her last year, last bike.
