Gear Lubes

Can anyone tell me the difference, if there is any, in SAE GL-5 75-90 Gear Lube and SAE 90 Hypoid Gear Lube?

I was reading over the bikes recommendations for gear lube for the tranny and final drive. It says to use SAE 90 Hypoid Gear Lube GL-5

My Toyota truck says to use 75-90 Gear Lube in the transmissions and SAE 90 Hypoid GL-5 in the rear drive.

I was just out at Advance Auto parts to see if they knew, but they only had "Marine" Hypoid Gear Lube in a plastic tube, like what calk compound comes in.

Thanks. I figured as much. I've been reading some other things on the internet about hypoid gears etc. and their requirement exceeding transmission gears. Then I ran across several articles stating that synthetic GL-5 75W-90 would work just fine in both the tranny and differential. So I picked up a few quarts tonight at Wally Mart and tomorrow or sometime soon I'm going to change out that stuff in my little truck.
