Trottle control that fits the R1200R --

I've had the toughest day trying to find out what Throttle Control fits the R1200R (No one knows, since it's such a new bike). The "Adventure Workshop" Guy and I got it!
- It's the same control that goes on the K1200R and the K1200S.
- The item # is : ccf500

Doesn't Throttlemeister make one for the 1200R? I had one on my old RT. It worked fine and the stainless bar end weights looked great on the bike.

I answered my own question yesterday. Throttlemeister does make a unit for our bikes # FH14. I went with the slightly longer model, which is a little more moneywise, at $149.00. Guess is depends if you want to spend the extra bucks for the stainless steel look. I happen to really like that look. Took me about five minutes install time and it works great. Don't forget a drop of locktite on the bolts.

My local dealer keeps very little in stock. I needed amber bulbs and they had to order them. When I bought my bike and needed a tank bag I had to promise to purchase it when it arrived, same with the hard bags. I guess they got stuck with something once.

Actually, UPS didn't have my suite number on the package, so I had to go and pick it up the the UPS Station. When I got it, I used the tool out of my tool bag and put it on at the UPS Station! Took 2 min. It's so nice. Used it on my way home....

Mark.....I'm thinking that will depend on which side of the bike you're standing on as to which one would be easier to get to!

I got my Kaoko throttle lock today and it is a very nicely made and easy to install unit. Yee Haa.
That was a joke about what grip to put it on.
