Hi,
I recently purchased a 2002 R1150R and I am so pleased. I really love this bike. On to my question....I am looking for a part. I need to get the thumb switch for my left blinker replaced. The turn indicators work, while as much fun as looking for the little dot with my thumb is, I would like to restore the bike to optimal condition. Your help is appreciated.

you kind find it on ebay or http://www.beemerboneyard.com

Be ready to pull the fuel tank and the left mirror to get the switch cluster off to replace.

You can look up the part # here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.do?m ... d=20050900

You can call and order it from Chicago BMW, they have some of the best prices for OEM parts.

I appreciate the help. It appears that I have to replace the whole left side switch assembly. Any ideas on how NOT to do this? I want to restore however paying over 80 bucks for an inch of plastic is not my idea of fun.
