More power

I'm thinking of trying for a 95 horse power motor on my rockster.My question is has anyone had experince doing this and how will this affect my drive shaft etc.

The R1150RT has the 95HP and more weight, using the same drive components. Should not be a problem.

And the RS also has the 95 hp motor. You would be hard-pressed to pick the difference of 10 hp. Save your money and buy a useful accessory.

The money spent in increasing hp on the 1150 engine would be better spent on a rear shock and some sticky tyres. It's not designed as a 'hot-rod' mill, so there is little you can do that's cost effective in gaining hp.

The bike's attributes are in its ability to handle rough roads while riding quickly, and brake with a lot of stability, not in 'grunt'. It has a good, well-balanced engine with lots of torque that more than makes up for it's low hp on 'real' roads.

You could switch to an R1100S with 98HP...?
