It actually fits!!! XXXL Arai meets system case.

Post by toner87 »

Last night I was in Berkeley and needed to secure my helmet and just didn't feel comfortable with the standard method that I use, which is locking the helmet to the frame of the bike with a cable and a heavy padlock. So, I thought to myself, let's see if I can get it in the right side system case, which I'd never successfully done before... Well, you know what? My XXXL Arai DOES fit! There's just enough flex in the case to get the latch to close... Yeehaw!!! :D :D

Geees XXXL....you must have a big head.. :D ..just kidding...

I will often ride to the movies with a friend and park right out the front..and lock both helmets inside the cases.

Most helmets will fit...I've not come across one that will not..I've heard here in the past that some will not.

There's no specials possition or trick...just right way up..and pointing forward.

I honestly thought my Arai would not fit, but I never tried super hard. There's enough flexibility in the case and in the helmet to cover those last few millimeters... I'll see if I can do it with my XXL RF1000...
