R1200S Wheels On R1200R

Does anyone know if the wheels on an R1200S will fit an R1200R? If they will does anyone know anyone with some for sale or trade?

You might poke around the forums the R1200S riders use, I notice that wheel upgrades are fairly popular, & I would not be surprized if you could find lighter wheels than the S wheels and/or a used set of S wheels. I would PM DeansBMW as he is in tight with San Jose BMW who do alot of performance upgrades on BMWs.

You could also try to look if there's any interest in your wheels on GS forums. Going for full road wheels is pretty popular in the GS scene.They will fit as I understand it but they need an aftermarket exhaust or else it will touch the tyre. If you can sell the current wheels for a good price you could judt buy the wheels you like new from the dealer.
