Does anybody have a remedy for cold eyes when riding at highway speeds in freezing or near freezing temperatures? I can be dressed well enough to be comfortable everywhere else, but when the thermometer gets near freezing and the speed gets over 70mph, the wind whipping around under my full face helmet can get the peepers to tearing. What I envision is fairly straight stemmed glasses with rubber or foam around the rim like goggles, but I haven't seen any. Goggles would work, but not with a full face helmet. If there are any other products or solutions I'd be interested.

I use padded motorcycle glasses. I got cheap ones, but they do work in cold weather, creating a seal around your eyes.
The ones I have have clear, amber, and sunglass replaceable lenses. The clears are good for night riding.

My flip helmet has a shirt thing that fills that gap and stops any wind getting in..you may be able to see it in this pic.

You could try a Harley shop..they have padded glasses that might fit under your helmet.

I just let my eyes water. Squeeze them real hard every once in a while to get most of the tears out. I think having sealed up glasses would fog up real bad in the cold.

Another for Wiley X. I used them in Iraq and they worked great for wind, dust, and light shrapnel. I remember more hot than cold, but seems as if it did a good job on the cold air. Also lens can be changed and perscription lens put in. You can use them with headband or arms like traditional glasses.

I have purchased 2 pair of $110 Oakley's in my life, both times I lost them in under 3 months. I get so mad about that still.

The simplest thing you can do to prevent wind from entering a helmet is to wear a neck warmer.

Try these. They were reviewed recently by one of the moto mags and received such rave reviews I bought a pair. Top drawer. It'll be the last pair you buy.

Thanks Panzerleder. Unfortunately I have the same problem as Herb when it comes to keeping track of glasses. I've seen some nice RayBans and Savannas come and go. So if the cheap ones fill the bill, I at least won't mind replacing them. If they don't, I may have to break down for the triple digit shades. I'll give a report on the cheapos when they arrive.
