BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

I can get a good deal on an '06 KR, depending on which options and wheels I want from units he has on the floor.

I really like the swirl type wheel with the 190 section rear tire more than the star-shaped wheel. Will I notice any real difference in every day, freeway riding between a 190 and 180?

I also wanted to ask about the white aluminum color. I like the look, but it doesn't seem like the same thick paint BMW uses on black and yellow.

I like the looks of the bigger wheels and tires, but I have the smaller ones. I think the smaller ones corner better. Who knows...

Gotta admit the sports rims look the mince.. from what I've read on the R1100S board where they used the bigger tyre it slows the handling down.. can't say I've experienced to confirm

At least 180's a way common size...
