help with heated grips

Post by Billerbeck »

My left handlebar grip has split and is getting worse all the time. It appears to be separating from the heating element beneath it. Are these actually separate parts? Can I just replace the grip covering the heating element?

When you ask you dealer they will tell you that it's one part only..'the grip and heated wires bit..all one piece'...and it is very expensive.

But you can order just the grip..for just a few bucks...and you can very carefully cut off the old grip and by using hair spray you can side on the new grip.

Part number...32721458396
