No Santa this week and probably not within next 2 weeks either.
Got a letter directly from one of the guys of BMW in Sweden, telling me "No R1200R" in this weeks delivery, which means that I continue to enjoy the 12gsadv with his F800S companion instead of R1200R.
Next fill up on the F800S I will use V-power from Shell. Just to check if it changes bottom grunt positive as did the 98 to 95 octane change it negative when using Q8.

BMW in Gothenburg?

Kiwi60 and runeo,
I'll be in Gothenburg (Gotoborg) in October. Do you know if there's a BMW dealership there? I'd love to see the new R if it arrives there before I see one in NJ. My significant other is vehemently against me purchasing a bike b/f kids are a little older, so I ride my friend's R1100S on occasion. The local BMW shop has let me take out the Rockster and F650GS a few times, knowing that I'm not in the market yet. The F800 bikes and the new R are high on my "waiting list."
Thanks in advance.
Tom

Yes you did, and I am happy with you.
I will receive mine the 13th of October, but I changed from ESA to Öhlins in front and back. If I wanted ESA I should have to wait until this spring. It was a missreading by the reseller that I could have the ESA now.
Really happy to miss the ESA and upgrade to Öhlins. What a colour shock with the yellow Öhlins in this Massive black bike! I have dreamt about it in colour.
Öhlins for eyes, butt and traction, and
Akrapovic for ears and eyes.
best wishes
