If so, do you have any wiring diagrams of where it is to hook this up? I think I can follow the directions, but the instructiuons are unclear as to what colour the wire is that is for the turn signal cancel, and a good ground, and a hot wire with ignition on.

I've seen one of those recently on e-bay. They operate your garage door automatically by hooking into a switch on your bike, like the high beam flasher. They don't have a power supply, so you have to wire it in somehow.
The e-bay store only says "simple wiring" ... yeah right ... I've tried to get an answer from them before I buy, no luck yet.
I would also like to know if anyone is using this and how "simple" it really was ...

I got it installed last night, took about an hour. Works like a charm. The instructions suggest tapping into the Blue / Green wire for power, and the brown with whtie stripe for the trigger. It works great. Press the signal light cancel button twice within 2 seconds and viola, garage door opens. Very cool.
eBay may be a bit pricey, especially if there is no buy it now optoin. I just bought a two way radio comms on ebay from a buy it now store, for $29. I just saw another on there, and the bidding is now at $56. Same item, both are new. Go figure.
The model you want for a pre - 2006 Beemer is # AS-5PG2
