I would like to post a thank you this Memorial Day to all the vets out there and especially to any family members of vets who made the ultimate sacrifice. I have always held the people who defend us in high regard and understood the reverance of this holiday but as a newly-minted Army parent, it takes on even more meaning.

Thanks from a grateful citizen who understands all the freedoms we enjoy are just words on a piece of paper without the people standing ready to defend us!

Likewise. There isn't a time when I'm at the Korean War memorial in Washington, D.C. when I don't tear up. A huge thanks to all veterans of all wars who have fought for our freedom.
