Okay, so it's not a hexhead, but it is 1200cc. Might correctly be considered as a "R1200CS".

A few other details:

R1200C basic block/crank/rods
1150R heads (worked) and cams
GS throttle bodies
R/S/GS computer
custom intake tubes with PiperX filters
12:1 high compression pistons
1100S 6-speed
1100S telelever
GS final drive
Boxer Cup Replika forks and brakes
K1200RS wheels
custom rear frame, suspension mount, and fairing
1100S dampers
custom exhaust with high-flow cat
R1200C front frame, tank, and seat
narrowed Rockster bars

Final assembly and paintwork in progress now.

I WANT ONE!!!!! I WANT ONE!!!!! Bad ass and creative even though it's a little funky looking in spots but what BMW isn't. If BMW was even smarter, they'd quit with all this new space aged looking bs they're coming out with now and lean more in your direction. Harley makes bajillions of dollars selling many different models of crap that are just pieces or ideas from one bike to another then they call it a different model. BMW is often so busy partially or fully "re-designing". How much do you want for the completed and tested model?

P.S. I'm a test rider for a living so if you need some help with performance/durability proving, give me a shout. Ha ha just kidding I'm sure you have all that covered. Unless you don't, then seriously hit me up. I'd love to see how she acts on the road.

The frame is cleaned up and primed, as are all other sheetmetal and body bits. If all goes well, paintwork starts next week!

Long overdue update...

Ignore the telelever, that's temporary while I have another proper R1200C unit. First one seems to have grown legs and walked off.

The motor is all built with the high-compression pistons and re-bore, and you may or may not be able to see that the cylinders have been painted to match the frame. Valve covers left chrome (of course!), but freshly re-chromed and very shiny.

What you can also get a glimpse of is the silver within the radiator outflow curves in the front radiator surround/frame section. Those line up with the silver in the pics posted previously... wish I had a pic of it all together, but will once the correct front telelever is in place.

I have the R1150R. Where can I get the pistons,head work, and cams? The Harley guys give me crap about no way to get more HP out of my R. :evil: :roll: :lol:

Sure, they can buy all the squawkin' chicken, V&H, hypercharger, etc, gear they like(for HUGE) bucks, and they might go almost as fast as your R--in a straight line-- challenge em on a twistie road :D Used to ride (fast), open road commute 85 km's each way with a very good rider on an EVO--first time I took the lead on an overtake (top gear roll-on from 100km/hr) I utterly, absolutely left him for dead. Period. The word he used to describe his reaction , later, was "shocked". And this bloke is no credit card lifestyle "biker". He is the authentic thing..only sold the T140 Bonney, his regular, long distance , ride, a few years previously.I'm talking top gear bursts to 180km/hr or so. And they go on about their big twin "torque" . A tractor has torque---
















But it don't accelerate. :roll:
