12K Service... any DIY folks out there?

Okay, I'm coming up on my 12K service. I can do the oil change and I've done the throttle body sync and valve adjustment. Not so sure about the other stuff. I'm thinking about switching to synthetic oils where possible (Amsoil).
Here's the list of stuff to be done, from the BMW sheet that I have from my 600 mile service (which of course includes the other 6K interval things). I put the things I'm not sure about, or that I think the dealer ought to do, in bold:
-Read Motronic fault memories.
-Integral ABS equipped - perform bleed test with BMWMoDiTeC.
-Check brake pads and discs for wear, renew as needed.
-Check tires.
-Check ABS sensors/pulse wheels for gap/contamination.
-Check front/rear brake fluid levels, top up if needed. Check brake system with regard to function, leaks, repair as needed (I still have not gone in for my 'free ABS brake inspection).
-Check clutch operating fluid level.
-Check/adjust valve clearances.
-Replace spark plugs.
-Change engine oil and renew filter.
-Change transmission oil.
-Change rear drive oil.
-Check/adjust throttle cable play... replace if needed.
-Renew fuel filter.
-Check battery acid level.
-Renew intake air filter.
-Check play in telelever.
-Grease side and center stand pivots >Where does the grease go in?
-Check for smooth operation of throttle butterflies, tighten hose clamps, throttle sync., adjust idle.
So. How many of these things have any of YOU done, yourselves? Any problems I should know about? Our club has a tech day coming up and I plan to be there and do at least the oil changes, and valve/throttle stuff.
