It is fake, i think some guy on the pellican parts forum did those.

Can't say if it's a "PhotoChop" or not, the resolution of the image is too soft. One thing, it does make sense that the new RR would look like that. Rumors I've read say it will be based on the current KR, which it bears more that an striking family resemblance. I for one hope it's true, I like it! Of course, I won't be trading in my '02 RR for a long while yet, but it's nice to think about it!

I betcha BMW, rather than going its own course, will follow the new naked bike trend and make 'em sexy but not practical, ie. Honda 919, new Triumph Speed Triple, Ducati Sport 1000, etc.
So forget real hard bags, windscreen options, decent passenger provisions, comfort, etc.
Besides, if its too practical, BMW may be afraid it'll take sales away from the higher margin'd ST/RT's and the like.
So photochop? Maybe, but I betcha its close.
But if I wanted a bike that wasn't practical, then I'd only consider a real sportbike, not a BM.

I've been to Bangkok several times back in '67. Rented a Honda and road around. I took a trip up to the bridge over the river that the movie was made about. Lots of British grave yards along side of the road. The movie was B.S. That bridge is steel and steel reinforced concret just as we have here and the river very wide. Its still used today. You can see where aircraft had shot at the trains and hit the steel. There was the strangest little tourist shop by the bridge with stuffed deer about twice the size of a jackrabbit.

What I've read the design should stick more to the classic naked bike design but rather a modern style than a retro style.
