Bad boy Busa......60 to 140 on the rear wheel........220 at 10,000 rpm and went on to 11,200 rpm, well above 220 mph indicated. WOW

Wow..... it's still hard to believe that kind of acceleration coming on at over 120 mph! Wow, wow, WOW!

I thought excess of 220 mph was pretty much impossible to reach on a bike, taking maybe a really heavily modified Hyabusa and I would have guessed taking much longer to get there.
Whatching that speedo needle sweep that fast I was thinking maybe its a hoax. A busa owner like BigPapa would most likely be a better guess at this than myself (like do the rpm's & speeds match up?).
I did run the vid a few times to be sure the inner numbers on the speedo are KPM's & they are.
If its legit, thats one fast bike. The wheelie being pretty cool too.

Actually...... I've watched a few videos taken from the tank of a `Busa, and I am given reason enough to (wanna) believe that's for reals! However, that thing seems to be even quicker (on film) than the Turbo`Busa I've had saved to my desktop for the last few years.
One thing consistent between all the `Busa vid's, is how that needle sweeps so damn fast after 120 mph......
jeez, I jus' gotta ride one, somewhere, somehow...... surely some stranger would hand the keys over to me and say, "Have at it Pat!"

I ran the video several times, to my amazement, and presume that the bike in question is not stock.
I would think that she is either turbocharged.....although there is no boost gauge to be seen or on a diet of
gas.
Yep....the way that tach needde wraps around there is some extra HP lurkin within.....considering the HP goes up at the square of the speed.

I watched this video a couple of times, and it appears to this untrained eye to be a bit suspect. Granted, what I don’t know about motorcycles in general, and the Hayabusa in particular, would fill volumes. However, the visual cues of median access roads, skid marks, etc. do not seem to be zipping by all that fast. In particular, notice the pair of skid marks on the road as the bike decelerates to about 110 indicated. Looks more like sub-freeway speed to me.
Again, I have little experience with high speed driving/riding. The fastest I ever piloted a road vehicle was about 130, and that was a long time ago. Still, I would be inclined to call BS on this one.
