Goin' to the races this weekend...

No, not bike races, dangit.

The Rolex series will be at VIR this weekend, and I'll be humpin' tires and passin' gas for the Autometrics team.

Two weeks ago at Watkins Glen, (I wasn't with them, but I still think "we") we were in 5th and looking for fourth when the studs on the left rear broke and the wheel fell off. Two weeks before that in Phoenix (no George there either) the shift cable broke. We went from 4th in points back to 10th or 11th.

If anyone's interested, it will be on Speed this Sunday afternoon. We're the #14 GT and the #27 GT cars. The 14 is the real deal, the 27 is mostly the Sunday drivers car. (Geez don't tell 'em I said that.)

God I love the smell of hot rubber and racin' fuel!!
