Looking for torque wrench recommendations for R1150R maintenance & repair..

I have snap on but high $$$. I suggest a trip to amazon and you will find something that fits your budget. If your not going to be using it as a professional wrench you don't need to spend allot of $$$. Even the ones they sell at Auto Zone will get the job done for just maintenance on your moto and last forever.

I have been very happy with my Craftsman from Sears. I can't remember if it carries the lifetime warranty though. I think I paid around $70.

How important is it to have the wrench calibrated? I have the kind that you twist the handle to set the amount of torque you need. I have a pretty large size wrench. Should probably get a medium to smaller one for more delicate uses.

The one thing I would say is with that type if you Un-screw the handle (back to 0) when you store it they will normally stay very close over a very long period of time. (close enough).
I have 4 and one is an expensive snap on and I have checked the cheaper ones against the snap on and they are very close (all).

I'm shopping for 1/4 torque wrench at the moment and melted my options to two choices:

- expensive, snap on quality one made by CDI which will last a lifetime - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K ... PDKIKX0DER

- cheapo one from Harbor Freight, which is ok for seasonal work

I'm still undecided. Leaning towards cheapo one. Hope it helps.
