Painting Bits advice

I would like to paint the front headlight bracket. This is the two silver pieces on either side of the headlight that the turn signal is bolted too.

I would also like to paint the rear cowl just behind the seat.

These items are plastic so I had the thought of using a plastic type of rattle can paint but I really want professional results and I am far from a professional.

Any advice on painting these would be very helpful and possibly save my R from looking like a worn out shoe :D

I painted those exact pieces years ago on my 12R with a can flat black rustoleum paint.

Just clean it good with some kind of paint thinner or acetone and paint away. After a few years, hit it again for a fresh look. :D

If you want something besides flat black with a gloss finish, maybe stop in any local auto body shop and ask how much it would cost to have them done by a pro.... I've had bits from a bike done like that for under $100...

Cheers!

After reading a bunch of post around on various forums about vinyl wraps I am going to try them. Should be fun.
