So the Kawasaki beat it....bugger!.....and no 999 in the test?

Great pics...and those lap times..K1200R (1.33)....R1100S (1.43)....wow..10 seconds in just one lap.

Oh yeah...we're talkin Power Cup bike...not your standard K1200R....notice the semi-auto shifter in those pics.

Track differences can be very misleading, and really don't translate to absolutes on the street. I'm sure the Kaw is lighter/nimbler in town (and on the track),but for POWER cruising or GT (hauling @$$ in open country), I'm sure the K12R is the M5 of 2 wheels. If the K12R could drop 80-100lbs and get into SuperDuke fighting weight - LOOK OUT!
