Hello everyone,
When I put the contact, both ABS lights are on.
ABS is to check the frequency of 4 Hz and remains there even starting the engine and starting to roll.
Bulb brake light comes on when I pull the front brake handle or pressing the pedal but when I pull the handle, the engine brake booster does not starts.
By cons, when I press the pedal, the engine brake assist ABS starts up but does not stop when I stop pressing the pedal.
I have to switch off the ignition, switch on the ignition, only then the engine braking assist ABS stops.
I measured the av and rear ABS sensors, they both indicate 3.5 mega ohms when the plugs are disconnected.
I guess the pedal switch OK because the bulb lights and engine as ABS, but how is it possible that he goes out more?
I read in the forum that the internal control in the box to the front brakes elements could remain blocked when the motorcycle remained a long time without turning, which is the case, can someone tell me how to loosen the piston possibly?
How is it possible to reset the ABS case?
I have no brake on the front.
I did purge all AV circuits.
I fear the worst for the ABS case.
Someone has a great idea?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Kind regards
DIDIER

If by "the worst" you mean bad ABS module there is no need to worry.
It is probably the easiest mod to do and you will have better brakes. Not to mention 0$ total cost.
Just rip it out and move on.

Zero cost ABS removal, this is from the UKgsers forum and works for the R1150r but not the Rockster. The wiring and relay fix will give you brake lights on the Rockster but you will no longer have a working speedo. The second link gives details of another solution that solves the speedo problem and I think is also neater than cutting into the loom and adding relays. Had i known at the time I would have used this method to fix the brake lights when I removed the ABS from my R1150r.

Rockster ABS removal is the same as the above with the exception of the wiring and relay mod. With the Rockster the ABS electonic control unit needs to be retained to allow the speedo to function.

There is definitely no reason to cut the harness in either case. Take the hydraulics out, keep the electronics, take the relay and the light bulb out and move on.
Brakes on my 04 Rockster were the craziest thing I have ever experienced. They were noisy, overly intrusive, and unpredictable. I almost dropped the bike a couple of times at low speed because ABS decided that I should apply more front brake.
I took it out and the brake is amazing. Front brake is all you need on this bike. No crazy start up noises, no nothing.
I don't want to get into the whole ABS thing but as far as pure brake goes, there is no comparison.
DONT CUT THE HARNESS. UKGSer instructions are not to be followed (regarding harness and relays and brake lights and the rest of the craziness. Don't ask me how I know.
Lets just say that I am pretty handy with the soldering iron.
