A man named Fred lost one of his arms in an accident.
He became very depressed, because he had loved to ride a motorcycle, play guitar, and a lot of things that required two arms.
One day, Fred decided to commit suicide.
He went to the top of a very tall building, intending to jump off.
He was standing on the ledge, looking down, when
he saw a man skipping along, whistling and kicking up his heels. He
looked closer and saw this man didn't have any arms at all.
Fred started thinking, "What am I doing up here, feeling sorry for
myself? I still have one good arm to do things with. There goes a man
with no arms at all skipping down the sidewalk, happy and going on with his life."
He hurried down and caught up with the man with no arms. He told him
how glad he was to see him because he had lost one of his arms
and felt ugly and useless and was going to kill himself.
Fred thanked the man for saving his life and said that he now
knew that he could make it with only one arm.
The man with no arms began dancing and whistling and kicking up his
heels again. Fred asked "Why are you so happy anyway? "
The man with no arms said, "I'm NOT happy...my ass itches!"

Reminds me a MX racer I know who once broke both wrists...at once.
He said if you ever want to know who your true friends really are just go out drinking beer with your buds and see who goes with you to the restroom!

That is why all my "buds" are women. Just in case I break both my wrists at the same time!
