Spray short shots of Liquid Wrench or Knock'er-Loose behind the finned casting onto all 4 of the bolt threads of a very warm engine and let it soak an hour+, respraying 15 minutes after the 1st spraying. Then they come off easy. I have easily removed a '98 R850R and '02 R1150R header bolts this way with no shear-fear or frozen-drama. Doing it dry could be a risk because of the years of heat cycle accelerated deterioration between the steel bolt/Aluminum threads junction.

Just had a place called NitroPlate in Tennessee do mine. They did an excellent job and the total was $107.00

I've also had them done by Jet-Hot. The NitroPlate was as good or better than the Jet-Hot. Included doing the inside of the header pipes.

I'd like to see a picture of the results. Are there color options or just black?
