Hi Guys, I,m a bit of a short a** and am looking to lower my Rockster. I already have the low seat but I would like to be able to flat foot
it when two up. Loose gravel under foot could end up embarrasing and even in divorce. It seems that wilbers are the only shock that do a specific lowering kit (30mm). Has any one on here used the shorter wilbers shocks and how did they find them, ie. harsher than stock.
Any help would be useful as it is a lot of money to spend and not be happy. Cheers.

No experience with shorter shocks; I've raised my Rockster suspension instead.

But there's info about Roadster lowering that might help you, including the adventures of Patrick, one of this board's renowned characters (RIP). Search in the R1150R section. Here's a start:

The other alternative is to source a longer Paralever arm - thr RT one might be worth a try? See if you can get some accurate figures for lengths.
