I haven't been here for ages! Time flies when you're having fun
My 1150 is still with me and is going extremely well, no issues and I still love it to bits. She's 12 years old now
Last month I bought an original 1957 BMW R50! (I think she might be the 1150's great-great-great grandmother ) 54000 Miles on the clock and rides beautifully!
Really good condition for being 57 years old. It has to be the low humidity in J-SA.
My Jack Russell mix dog noticed that black (predator) cat walking toward us. Cool cat !!
Great post. I currently own a 2004 R1150r with 37K on the odometer, bought it 4 years ago after the kids moved out. Love the bike! Back in 1986 sold my 1966 R50. I purchased the bike used in 1968 and sold it in 1986 with 128K on it. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures. Enjoy the ride.
How do you like the Earles fork (could never get used to it)
Sounds like a treasure
Rags
You're really jogging my memory now. I remember the odd feeling of the front end rising when I applied the front brake. The bike replaced an R27 which also had Earles forks. The R50 had the large tank, large seat, luggage rack and hard bags, wish I had some old pics. Divorce will do that to you.

That R75/5 looks sweet excellent condition
Here's my old '72 R75 with a third party fairing in the Sonoran desert in Mexico 1975. I think they started colors in '72; before that, you could have any color you wanted as long as it was black.
