New Guy On The Forum !

Post by AZBMWRIDER »

Hi all !!!
I was a member here about 12 years ago, had computer issues and couldn't log back in here, so I didn't persue it anymore .
Well, I'm back, 48,000 miles on my '02 1150R .
Bike has been hit three times, once with me on it and two were, parking lot and gas station incidents, major damage both times .
So antway, just found an oil leak on the rear shock preload adjuster, check the parts diagrams and the parts are not available from BMW .
Anyone ever attempt to replace seals here, or is it better to go with a replacement rear shock ?
No problems with it otherwise .
Any shops repair these ?
Don't want to put alot of money into the bike, don't feel it's worth it to invest any real amount of cash into this bike .

Been riding since 1979, BMW's since 1981 .
