my '02 roadster has only 20,000 miles, but the shocks seem really soft. i guess age can affect them too.
i feel i should go ahead and invest in new shocks. i've seen some wilbers on ebay.
is there a particular model that's best? these are some of the models advertised for the r1150r:
front:
eco line type 530 road 36mm
rear:
eco line type 540 Classic 46mm
eco line type 640 Road 46mm
any advice would be appreciated. thank you.

As a free first option just try adjusting the rebound damping as per the manual. A simple screw driver job.

I am in the same quandry with my $4000 bike of whether to put $2000 worth of shocks on it, or sell it.
