While changing tires (many changes in 45,000 miles) I have noticed that the "spacer bushing" on the left side of the front wheel is getting grooved by the seal of the wheel bearing. I think the grooving is somewhat normal but wondered if I should flip it end for end and use the new surface; since both ends appear to be the same. Or...is the spacer bushing now "lapped in" (the groove is not concentric to the spacer) and should be left alone.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

My GS developed a little bit of a groove too. Flipping it the other way however was not an option as the two sides were different (2007 GS). I'll be interested to see if anyone else has an opion or supporting logic to flipping the spacer around. Personally I wouldn't bother. I can't imagine a benefit to having the grooved side on the outside.
