aftermarket steeting damper recall

I have not seen any discussions on this board about using the Ohlins aftermarket steering damper, but it seemed like a good idea to post this since it is for the units made for R1200R's. There is a recall.

Lost Rider has a Ohlins damper, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the heads up, yes I have one.
After reading the piece about the bracket I looked and didn't notice any cracks but will contact Dan Kyle to see if mine is the model that is effected.

lately ive wondered if my stock damper works after a couple of years. not sure about 2007.

By the way, with all respects,Lost Rider is a fenomenal (in good meanings)driver.I just like Him.Reminds me to my younger age.I was doing the same think,going anywhere,anytime.But I am calming down.?My age ?Probably yes.Seeing Lost Riders photoes allmost tears coming down.I would like to be on his side driving.He is Perfect in R1200R drive.If someone could do it better I will take off my hat.(got to by one )
