Ever had dealer computer problems?

I had to go to Northern N Mexico so I put the bike on my trailer so the dealer could do my 12,000 mile service. After waiting 8 hrs to pick it up he said " no throttle body synch and no update to your on board service schedule as our shop diagnostic computer is down.....you will have to come back.
400mile round trip for me, and he said their computer is down more days than it works!
What a crap shoot for a completed service! Ever had this trouble?

No. I have a GS-911 so my bike never sees the dealer's computer. It's a DIY..

Roger that! No GS-911, But I do have a warranty and needed some free parts/repairs.
Will go back for throttle sync if they ever get that computer up.
My first BMW was purchased in 1972. Never heard that shop say, "I can not get my feeler gauges to boot up, come back next week"!!!

I have never had that issue at my dealer. Ever. 400 miles is a long way to go.
Might be easier to stop at Sandia BMW in Albuquerque on your way to Northern NM. Got any good mountain roads picked out yet?

I live in great mountian roads, Ruidoso NM, but the roads heading North to Albq or Santa Fe are not all that great. Sandia's sister shop in Santa Fe is the one with the crappy computer. They are both 400 mi round trip from me. I will wait a week or two and then hit one of their shops to finish my service visit.
