Slipper clutch

Does r1200r 2011 year have slipper clutch as standard?

Nope. There may be an aftermarket slipper clutch for R1200Rs but BMW does not provide one in anything but the new water cooled GS.

If you are smart/skilled enough to rev match your downshifts is there any need for a slipper clutch?

Slipper clutches are available. Not cheap.

Think the BMW S1000 & HP4 comes with a slipper clutch.
