owner's manual printed OEM

Is there a source for a printed owner's manual, OEM, for a 2009 r1200r?
I looked at A&S and did not see it. A greasy used one would be fine. Struck out at Beemerboneyard also.

I have the pdf on my iPhone, and laptop, but the printed OEM version would be very convenient to have.
Are there any other printed docs that come with the bike? I got none when I bought my used 12.
TIA

John

I'd imagine a dealer can order one.
real.oem lists them here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... g=01&fg=40

Easy - Max has them for ONLY $26.54 plus shipping, but you get a bag of M&Ms with it. Part # 11 01 41 8 521 997

If you have the PDF you could print your own or get it to a print shop where they would print it for you.

You can visit the BMW motorcycle website and click on the Service and Technical tab.

http://www.bmwmotorcycles.com/us/en/index.html

here you will find links to most BMW models and a downloadable PDF file. Down load the file and then if you have a tablet computer such as an ipad you can attach the file and send it to yourself. Then open it in iBooks.
This way you always have access to the manual no mater where you are.

Cheers,

right, I have the pdf on phone and laptop already. The problem with a digital file though is perspective, ie, you can't just page through and see the context as something is presented. Well, I suppse you can, sort of, but it's not the same. I find, I have to specifically look for something and as such, I don't see a big picture. With a book, you'll see something, and something on the next page, or something you see while thumbing to the page you seek, something catches your eye and you read that part too. A more complete, if tangential, experience. But being new to the 12, and having TWO books for my 1150, a rider's manual and a service book, not having any is lacking. Also, if you're on the road, a printed page is far easier to use and see.
Why would an owner lose the d@mn book? (rhetorical). As we say in south Louisiana, "dumas."
I have the Haynes, btw.
I will check out having one printed from the pdf and spiral bound. that's a good idea and may be cheaper than 27 + delivery.
Thanks for the suggestion

Have you tried checking with Beemer boneyard or one of the other BMW salvage yards out there?

Cheers,

I was just about to toss one in the trash but you are welcome to have it. Send your mailing address to [email protected] and I'll drop it in the mail this week.
