1996 R1100R left blinker light always on?

All four blinker lights work properly as blinkers, should any of then stay lighted even when not blinking?

Nope, they should blink and then go off ...

Oliver thanks for your reply.
I started looking at the electricals, expecting to find a crazy short of some kind. I found that both blinker lights have double filament bulbs just like the rear brake light. On the left side bulb, both filaments are operating correctly. On the Right side the blinker filament is working but the other filament is blown. I replaced the bulb and now everything is working; dim orange lights on all the time and blinkers operate correctly on the second (brighter) filament.

Sometimes the solution is so easy to find!
Just trying to imagine if you were a victim of broken wires due to the zip-tie problem ...
