Measurement, Please

If you have a top case on your R1200R, then I ask that you provide me a measurement of the distance between the back of the seat to the rear of the case. I am trying to get an idea of how far the cases protrude off the rear of the bike. For consistency's sake, please use the rear of the seat as your reference point for the measurement. I hope to get 3-5 measurements from bikes with different types of cases; for example, BMW, Touratech, Givi, Coo, Jesse and Happy Trails.

Thanks for your help.

No problem. Be advised that with the Givi setup, the System Case carriers have to come off so (so obviously the System Cases can't be used at the same time). Let me know if you'd like a picture.

16.5" with the 28 liter BMW case. I am using a Rick Mayer seat though, and I don't know if that ends at the same location as the OEM seat.

Oh yes, I also have a custom seat by Bill Mayer. Would not expect it makes much of a difference in the measurement.

No longer true with the Givi SR5100. Although that thing seems to be damn near impossible to actually purchase in the US.

I'll check with my guy on that. If he can't get it, and can't be gotten. Thanks

Hmmm, you sure this is not for the 2011 and newer R12R's?

I hadn't noticed that before. Looks like it is.

Has anyone actually been able to obtain one of these Givi SR5100 racks? If so, source?

Thanks!
