Ilmberger Hugger

New shocks are almost here, so with that in mind I needed a hugger to protect the rear unit.
OEM shock has a mud guard, but new Yacugar's won't, so what to get?
Mudsling is an option, as is the Puig hugger and others.
I confess, I wanted a nice carbon one. Didn't like the look of the mudsling or the big exterior frame of the Puig.
Here's what I selected, the Ilmberger.

Clean attachment to the swing-arm.

Nice overall look.

The bottom of the OEM mud guard on the shock was rubbing on the hugger, so we trimmed it to make room.

With a hugger installed, there's no more need for the OEM mud guard and I don't plan to sell these shocks, they're back-up and when I sell the bike WAY down the line, it will be nice to be able to offer the OEM shocks as new with the bike. They have 3700 miles on them, so they're just getting worn in, still fresh.
Hope you like it, shocks coming soon and I'm looking forward to them.
