What is the best way to warn riders that there is a cop ahead? I usually flash my hi beam a couple of times. Not sure if that is the best way. Thanks

The traditional method for warning oncoming riders of LEO presence is to take either hand(I would say clutch hand), fingers extended and together, like you're getting ready for a salute...then raise your arm and tap the top of your helmet several times, as if you are patting yourself on the head. Forget the flashing lights. That warns everyone and we don't really care if the cagers get tickets.

Learn somethin' new every day, I didn't know about that. Sounds like a better plan than flashing your lights, if the LEO sees you doing that he will not be pleased and probably pull you over and harass you if not ticket or arrest you. They might even deem you an enemy combatant, and ship you off to Gitmo under the NDAA, never to be heard from again.
