heavy clutch?

i bought my bike to ride around the city and i find my left hand tired after riding for ~20 minutes because of the amount of force required to operate the clutch. i'm mainly riding in in stop and go traffic with lots of hills so i need to operate the clutch a majority of the time. i've taken to going into neutral at lights, but that only gives me a 10 or 20 second break and i'd rather be in gear and ready anyway. i did not have this problem with my previous bike (f650cs).

is there anything i can do? do more curls? buy one of those hand spring things?

Me too. Turns to severe pain after 200 miles or so. It helps if I do not wear a wrist watch or have the gloves done up too tightly around the wrist. Maybe some strengthening exercise would be a good idea for both of us?

Must pick up my next pint of bitter with the left hand.

I would echo this. I set the lever adjuster to bring the lever as close as possible to the hand grip but still get cramps. Only solution is long highway cruises I guess.
