If you are not a visitor to Bob is the Oil Guy take a look at my post on my 2011 R1200R.

EVERY post there is an "Oil Thread"!

I DID change to synthetic oil @ 3000 miles with Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck 5W-40 and this
is the analysis on that oil. Bike did NOT burn any oil in that 3000 miles.
