Been thinking of adding one of these to my ride, however, have not pulled the trigger. Also, what is the MAXIMUM price you would be willing to pay?

I've been thinking of giving this a shot as well. Not sure what my max price would be - I'd like to pay less than regular price. $120?

I was thinking about it, not sure how much its worth it to me.

I am totally happy with the way my bike runs (like a scalded cat) as it is. Why do we need a booster plug again?

I installed a Techlusion R259 on the '02 R1150R I had due to surging. Overall it didn't seem to make much difference or make the bike run better, but did negatively affect the MPG. And my (former) mechanic said they are junk and refused to work on the bike due to its presence.

So personally, I'm not sold on these type of aftermarket add-ons, especially for the R1200R.

I like the way my bike runs too but it's a bit snatchy in the low revs. I'm not looking for more power. I've gone back and forth on this, but there's a lot of anecdotal evidence that it helps with the snatchiness and low-rev drivability. Even at full price it's cheap enough that I've been thinking about trying it out. If it's not my thing, I'm certain I can sell it to another one of the believers or someone who wants to give it a shot. But it'd be great if a hundred and change makes the bike a bit smoother in the San Francisco stop-n-go.

Your bike is still pretty new, correct? It will probably smooth out when it's a bit more broken in. My '08 with about 11.5K is not snatchy. YMMV, of course.

Good point. I've only got about 5k on mine so far. I have heard that the bikes smooth out quite a bit after the 6k service. Maybe I'll wait. That $150 can certainly be spent on other cool stuff for the bike.

I think this thread was about people that would be interested in saving some money on a group buy and the other (first) thread was for people that bought one and were giving their opinion and people that were challenging the worth of the unit. But I could be wrong.

Seriously, the hyper-on-topic-only vibe of a few folks 'round here is a real drag. If we were talking in "real life" about a group buy, would folks who weren't sure of the value of the item in question be asked to leave and go talk elsewhere? That would be silly, right? Harry, you are correct. Just trying to get a feel for how many we might have for a group purchase if all are interested and the potential price they are willing to pay. Don't care too much about the works vs. doesn't work debate. Thanks guys.

I would be a lot more interested at $99 than $120, but at $120 would likely jump in.

Like many others I am happy with the performance of my bike. The benefit I expect would have more to do with starting and stopping on my gravel driveway, dirt roads, etc. My understanding is that it does not have any effect once the bike gets moving.
