I am thinking of purchasing the new Dunlop Roadsmart 2 tires for my 08 R1200R. Anyone has some experience with this model?
Thanks
Peter

The Roadsmarts are getting great reviews in some of the mags that I've read.

Good review, I'd like to see if Motorcycle Consumer News has reviewed. I think at this level, all the tires are good. Even though I'm the Michelin man, I was talked into Pirelli Angels on my Monster 696; I didn't realize it at the time but they went up a size from stock as well and I think the Pirelli's are a great application on the 696.

I got about 7K miles out of my PR 2's or maybe it was 9K, I'd have to check; I do know that I was surprised I'd gone that many miles and I intuited from reading the forums that I was getting appropriate mileage.

On the R1200R I'm riding better now that when I put the PR2's on; the PR3's just seem really "there" whatever that means; I have a pal who puts tons of miles on his RT and likes the PR3's above the rest.

Probably can't go wrong with Dunlop but the PR3's are fairly new to the market as well.....YMMV
