BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

I was in my garage checking out the bikes and uncovered then covered my R. When I did this, the tail light came on. I had the BMW charger plugged in the accessory receptacle. I turned all of the switches on then off but the light remained on. Finally, I grabbed the key, turned the ignition on then off, which caused the tail light to turn off.

Any idea what caused this? I have a feeling it had to do with the charger being plugged in. Another weird thing that happens is when I initially plug the charger in, after a few seconds, the brake light flashes.

A similar thing happens on my R. The tail light, license plate light, GPS and little small bulb in the headlamp come on. Now, I use a Yusa charger plugged into the accessory socket I wired to the battery (through a fuse block). Works without a hitch.
