Hi been lurking for a while. Ordered a R1200R last month and was told I wouldn't get it until November. Got a call last Saturday to say it had arrived on Friday and was in their workshop ready to go. Dunno whether the factory was quiet and the order got brought forward, or if it was someone elses cancelled order

.
Anyhow I'll probably pick it up at the end of this week once the paperwork is sorted. Crappy mobile phone dealership pictures below:-

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for reaching out. I am new to BMW bikes, have ridden Honda and Kawasaki's in the past, it's been about ten to eleven years now. I just recently took a riders safety course and looking forward to get back into riding with my new R1200R next spring.

Welcome and congratulation dmcd !
Mine came in early as well … I believe Berlin got busy and turned out a bunch of bikes so they could have some spare time to enjoy Oktoberfest last month …
