Sorry, haven't been on for a while.
I have my major service done at Gina's BMW in Iowa City, IA. It's easier for me to drive west 1.5 hrs than east into Chicago traffic.

If you are just talking about general maintenance, there is plenty of info on this site. I do all my own maintenance and I had no former motorcycle mechanic skills prior to getting my BMW. If your reluctant to try and relatively close to La Moille, IL, PM me and maybe we can do a tech day. It's all easy once you get the right tools.
