New House and Garage

Moved house and now got my wife and the R1150R installed (definitely in that order of importance). It's 11' x 17' so pretty easy to turn the bike around if I keep things tidy. Got the usual hand tools etc but no fixed work bench and only one power socket so far. A few cupboards and plenty of shelving.
So what are your ideas for fitting out a man's workshop , serious or otherwise?

Congrats on the new garage, what you need to do now is fit a few more power sockets so that you can run a large beer fridge and a sound system. Hang a hammock for power naps, get a couple of old sofa's for your buddies to sit on and install a pot belly stove to keep you warm in the winter. A bucket is also handy for pissin in, saves going in the house and getting told off for dragging your dirty boots across the carpet and also avoids the chance of being allocated non essential chores by the loving wife.

I think the first question is how much room to turn your wife around

then Elec sockets. plenty

a work bench with a vise. An old kitchen table if room.

Good lighting

a peg board to hang tools upon

an air compressor

a stool with wheels

a crawl board.

Make sure the garage door is secure - good locks and possibly good alarm system - especially if you have got a decent sized beer fridge installed full of beer!!
