Sunny,

I was writing this to you, and (I think) you make the topic go away!

Sunny,

As you saw, the post didn't display the photo. I could navigate to the photo with a little creative tinkering, but it's easier for the reader if the link is posted correctly.

Here's a photo link from one of my earlier threads, edited (as I explain below) so you can see how the link looks as you draft your message:

This demonstration line omits the opening bracket (a "[" character) at the beginning of the line. If that bracket were in place, the forum software would retrieve the photo, and the reader wouldn't see the photo link and would see the photo. For the online photo services I know (like Photobucket), you'll find an "image code" somewhere near your picture. Just copy and paste the image code into your post as you write it here. I've found it's actually easier to draft long posts in a word processor, then copy-and-paste into the forum's editor.

Give it another shot!

Pingle shifter looks neat. Although the transmission on my R1200R is significantly less clunky than my old 1100RT, it could still use some improvement. Does anyone on this board have experience with automatic shifters on a 1200R?

I also saw nitrous kits on the Pingle web site. That could be a lot of fun...

The electric shifter is setup to kill the motor when the shifter is actuated. Alamo Power Sports said they could wire in the kill part but thought it would be best not to hook that part up. We agreed. So I use the clutch.
The kill is attached to the coil and interrupts the fire process when the shift occurs. It shifts up and down. I think having the throttle wide open one could go up a gear by the push of a button.??? Recall seeing an electric shift on the inline four... K1300S

Me I can bearly deal with my bike as it is..... its' plenty fast for me.

OK - so the Picasa host location above was properly bracketed with image tags and, for the 100th time I get an error message (It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.). I give up. Can anyone explain what my difficulty is posting images here?

Moo, the Internet is out here, and I'm on my cell phone...way clumsy. Email me the entire image URL line that you've used, and I'll take a look when the net comes back. My email is dbrick at cruzio dot com

Thanks bricks.

I feel like a moron. I mean, I am a moderator elsewhere and I explain how to post fotos all the time but, at this site.... pfoooot!

OK - away from Picasa and over to Photobucket:

So, Presto? No Picasa images + r1150.net I guess.

The problem is with the "https" protocol being used in the link to the photo. Just remove the "s" so it is plain old http instead of secure http and it works like a charm. Below is an example of both, the first one does not work, second one does.

Nice bike BTW!
